Saw Eckerle at Group Health Cooperative in Madison, WI in 2007 for ongoing back pain. After a two min exam his answer was do yoga, and 'oh by the way you're going to get Diabetes some day, you should do something about that." A direct quote. He was also known in area to hand out pain pills and just paid a substantial fine for violating the controlled substances ACT. Doctors like this should be avoided at all costs! I learned the hard way and it affected my health for years afterword.

Dr. Eckerle has been my internist for about 18 years. He sets the standard for what an internist should be. His command of medicine and current medical practices is superior. He is remarkably friendly and goes out of his way to spend as much time with me as necessary. He has treated me for some chronic conditions over the years and has consistently provided me with the best care and treatment that I could have ever expected.
