love Dr. Frederiks passion for old school doctoring.

Fantastic Doctor. Even willing to make house calls when needed.

This Doctor has been there for my Mother and Father, both elderly who have trusted him for their best care. His actions going out of his way for them has been quite outstanding by today's standards. Although his affiliation with Lawrence Mem Hos. care is a best one star, I trust this Doctor without question. His diagnosis has been spot on, not sugar coated and truthful. Being younger he's up to date on the latest principals and has the energy that most older physicians lack dealing with today's bottle necked health care.

Dr. Fredricks is very kind and listens to what you have to say. He also discusses the issues you have as well as his concerns pertaining to you and your diagnosis. I think that it is great that he answers his own phone (during off hours) and if he is not available he is quick to return the call. I also like the personal touch of not having a nurse in the office so you don't have repeat bp and temps done or repeating what is wrong more than once, and the fact that he comes and gets you from the waiting room with a smile is a great touch. I would and have reccommended him to family and friends.

Dr Frederiks has seen me right away and called me at home to see how I was doing. I find him very professional.

electronic records seem to make information gathering more complete and accurate, but when I spend more time looking at the back of a laptop, something is seriously wrong. my history wasn't that complicated, but the amount of typing seemed ridiculously excessive (was Dr. F reading/typing email?). prescriptions were at pharmacy as promised (sent electonically), but knowledge base was lacking.

Finally a doc that isn't thinking about something else. Followed up with me specifically about my wife's condition also. No nonsense, down to earth. Never in a rush.

Dr Frederiks has always seen me at the appointed time, with little or no waiting. He might not be considered a chatty type, but he does use technology (a laptop) in his office, and has done a fine job of diagnosis and follow up with me. He also has a great little Scotty office dog who I'm sure helps with the therapeutic end of office visits.
