Dr. David Gerald Robertson, MD

He is through and really cares about his patients. He talks with us and is never in a hurry. Very intelligent.

I love Dr. Robertson as he is the best doctor I have ever had. However his staff is not punctual to my calls for RX refills. I was told a different thing than what they did. I am concerned with that and puzzled as to why they cannot do what they say they are going to do.

Dr. Roberton is a great resource person. Very competent. Caring, compassionate, & listens to what u say & includes u in your plan of care. Outstanding

I will always rem. all the times he showed genuine compassion for me. He can feel for others and has a great capacity to cheer a patient up as he has me on many occasions. He is attentive to listening to me and does not put me on a treadmill as some Drs. have. He is adapt with his diagnosis and his time spent with me is on the most human level as on a genius level. I have been a patient of his for 28 years. Great Doctor !

Excellent doctor, the best.

I've been seeing Dr. Robertson for probably three years. Started out rough in terms of office staff (the Doctor has ALWAYS been very good). Now that he's in a lovely new building, it's as if the old problems stayed back at the old office. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Wait time is better. There is a bit of a lingering communications issue, but it is vastly improved over what it was. I think they are still working on it. I know people who left him over that problem in the last couple of years (admittedly, it was terrible). I hung with him because I do think he is an EXCELLENT doctor - takes time and is obviously very smart. I would highly recommend Dr. Robertson. His address has changed from what is printed on this web page. He is in the doctor's building at Howell Mill/I-75 now.

I have been seeing Dr. Robertson for over 4 years (Type I diabetic) and he is so caring. Cannot say enough about this excellent doctor. Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Robertson seems great. His assistant is very slack. No follow ups from labs, or several voice messages. I would definitely change doctors simply because of Dr. Robertson's assistant if it weren't from the positive experience I had with Dr. Robertson. But it was only the first appointment with Dr. Robertson so I don't know about him either.This is the first time I have written a review for a medical professional so I am obviously not happy.

Dr. Robertson is by far the most helpful doctor I have found for my variety of medical problems. He was able to pinpoint a number of vitamin deficiencies in addition to my thyroid disorder that previous doctors missed. He is difficult to get an appointment with, has long wait times, and his office staff is less than excellent. When I inquired about the office staff, however, I found out that they are hired by Piedmont Hospital, not individual practices, so the doctor's office does not actually have a say. That doesn't make it less frustrating, but I know it is not their fault. If you are looking for an accurate diagnosis, a physician who will carefully monitor your health and spend as much time with you as needed, I have found no one better than Dr. Robertson. You just have to put up with longer wait times and a difficult staff to get it.

I have seen Dr. Robertson twice and would prefer to see him, instead of a PA. Every appointment I've made with Dr. Robertson has been cancelled with no offer of rescheduling, even after 3 to 4 month's wait. I've had several medical emergencies, and his "medical assistant" was rude. She told me they couldn't make any changes to my medications due to the "possibility of lawsuits." I will not be returning to this office.
