Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I chose to pursue a career in medicine for 3 reasons:1. I love science2. I want to help people3. I hope to make a difference in this worldWhat I want my patients to know about me:I grew up in Massachusetts. I attended Union College in Schenectady, NY, for both a B.S. in Biology/Sociology and an MBA in Health System Administration. Then, I moved to Biddeford, ME, to attend the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. After graduation from medical school, I went through my Family Medicine Residency at St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, PA. I started at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital in 2006 and have been here ever since. I currently live in Berks County with my wife and five children.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:When I am not seeing patients, I am spending time with my family. Most of our time is spent attending their numerous extracurricular activities. In addition, we are very active members of our …church, Sacred Heart Parish in West Reading, PA.
