Doctor Gazzaniga holds a special place in my heart. I went to three other orthopedic surgeons prior to finding him. No other surgeons had the skill set, experience, knowledge or confidence to take on my pending case for a very complex knee surgery. Doc.G has a natural gift- in addition to his expertise experience. He doesn’t just do surgery- rather, he connects with you as a patient to build trust between yourself and his team. He has the ability to make you feel very comfortable and trust that you are in safe, and under the right care. I am forever grateful to Doc.G and his amazing team at Newport orthopedics. His PA Camille is excellent, patient, listens to your needs/concerns. His schedule coordinator, Elizabeth went above and beyond for me (we ran into a few issues with my insurance) I literally, had his entire team at NPO and Hoag hospital working so hard, to ensure we could make this surgery happen. You will be very happy, that you out your care, in their hands!!

He's overbooked, only spends 10 minutes with you after waiting over an hour for him and doesn't fix the issue. He skimmed my MRI and said I needed a second surgery but changed his mind after reading the Radiologists report. I'm still in pain and only get pushed to his PA. And I just received an automated call saying he's not available for my appointment and to call his office to reschedule.

I could not believe the level of service that I got from Dr. Gazzaniga. He was AMAZINGGG! When I encountered problems, he was available 24/7. Returned calls on the weekend & late in the evening, dealt with the pharmacies when they made it difficult to get medication. He was the best doctor I could ever ask for, not to mention the fact that I was walking 3 weeks after surgery. Gazzaniga is top of the line!!!!!!

Dr gazzaniga saved my life he is the best orthopedic surgeon in the world in my eyes.thanks to him I am walking without a limp with a 1 inch shoe lift that's how bad my femur fracture was after 3 complete reconstructive surgeries 2 by Dr g due to my size and age I was shearing of screws and breaking hardware the problem I was experiencing was my phone was not growing around the hardware and therefore it kept breaking dr. G recommended a experimental drug called forteo which makes the bone grow around Hardware and strengthens my femur so I can walk it has been over 10 years now and I have a much better quality of life thanks to him I am so thankful and grateful that he is my orthopedic surgeon he is my hero a true genius I recommend him to everyone he is very talented and I appreciate him so much I don't have enough kind words to say about him I needed him at the worst time of my entire life and was so lucky to have found him thank you so much dr Gazzaniga God bless you and your family.

They called me the same day as my appointment to come 1 hour earlier due to Dr's scheduling problems. Then after keeping me waiting for 1 hour they told me the Dr was gone for the day!

Very direct and tonthebpoint which is appreciated in a doctor. However he was still very thorough and understanding of my condition which is not always the case with the ortho doctors.

I had ACL repair the week before Christmas, Dr G. did a great job and I feel awesome 2 weeks later - no crutches or brace. I didn't have to miss out on any family activities over the holidays. I know with PT I will be back to normal in no time. My incisions were minimal and look to be healing up nicely. I really liked DR. G.'s bedside manner - he;s personable and straight forward.

Dr.G has been trying to do everything we could to avoid surgery but I ended up there anyway. He did a great job and would recommend him and his staff to anyone. He & his staff has been there each and every time I had a question or concern.

It was a pleasure having Dr. Gazzaniga as my doctor since he did seem to truly care about my surgery and recovery. I really like how there is the Health Loop system to remind me about things that are critical to my recovery and items such as blood clots to watch for.
