I was born in Detroit and grew up in southeast Michigan, graduating from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1988. From that point, I went away to residency, PhD training, and fellowship. In 2008, an opportunity arose to come back home to Detroit, and I took it. Now, I find myself caring for breast cancer patients at the only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center in the Detroit metropolitan area and only one of two in the state. In addition, I am proud to promote science-based treatments and to that end serve as the managing editor of a blog devoted to that, Science-Based Medicine: https://www.sciencebasedmedicine.org

Totally misdiagnosed me. Terrible treatment. Then wouldn't answer my calls. Apparently he is on twitter all day instead of doing his job.

Dr Gorski is an excellent Dr and I am very satisfied with my care. I was really frightened but he made me feel at ease, he's a true professional. I think a lot of these reviews are not from real patients, he's the ONLY decent Dr in Detroit, a very big city with lots of breast cancer patients. I found out about him from a friend @ The Institute For Science In Medicine and very happy he's taking care of me. BTW, I'm now cancer free.

I felt like I was in the way. As if this doctor didn't want to see me as a patient. As if my health problems aren't difficult enough without an uninvolved, not helpful doctor. Ugh. I am going to see someone else next time.
