Dr. David Harris Weinstein, MD

I’ve been going to Dr Weinstein for treatment of Crohns Disease for~ 12 years. I have found him to be extraordinarlly competent, and thorough. I never feel as though he’s in a hurry, trying to get to his next patient. Really enjoy meeting/talking to him. He’s given me his cell phone, should I need to talk with him, and has called me to follow up. Bottom (no PUN) line — one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. Great doctor, good friend. Phil Heinmiller

I reached out to Dr. Weinstein based on a recommendation from a doctor my wife works with at a large pediatric practice. He was incredibly responsive, thorough, caring, and honest with my situation. I went to see him after self diagnosing myself (not a good idea) with a hernia. It turns out I had shingles. He treated that and later performed a routine colonoscopy and endoscopy that went well. Both were quick and easy....well, not the prep juice I had to drink a day before the procedure but that's another story. Bottomline is you're going to see reviews all over the place with every doctor in the US. I can honestly say that my experience with him and his team at St. Joe's was excellent. He is a tremendous doctor.

Although I am not a patient, Dr. W is caring for a dear friend just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I have rarely seen a doctor who cares so much for his patient and communicates frankly but compassionately about his condition.

Dr. Weinstein is compassionate, supportive and understanding. He made sure that I have a good understanding of cirrhosis and the severity of this condition. He is patient and provides answers to my many questions. I have found Dr. Weinstein to be upfront about prognosis while still being compassionate. He treats you as a individual instead of just another case.

Dr. Weinstein is really bad news . He would not listen to me, interrupted me, was unfriendly and has no bedside manners. Find someone else.

All I can say about this doctor is SMUG!!! Never plan to go back to such a person!

Dr. Weinstein is extremely compassionate, supportive and understanding. He is not too proud to admit when my condition surpassed his area of expertise and referred me to a specialist. I would trust him with 89 year old grandparents.
