Dr Hetzel accepted me as a patient in 2016. because I was older and legally blind and on medicaid most people would have said send her to a nursing home. There is no doctor on earth that is better than him. I will be grateful forever for him being my surgeon that cared enough to help a handicap person. Darnell Zachary

My name is Martha Trull, I had been being treated from another doctor for 2 to 3 months with no success, my symptoms were worsoning..My husband took me to mission We and with 1 hour or so I'd hadbeen examined and finally x-rayed by a CT scan...I had 2 large ovarian tumors, weight together 15 lbs...He and his team were too notch. I have finished ,6 rounds of chemo and in am clear, my pet Scan also clear. I came to Dr. Hetzel to remove what I thought was a benign tumor diagnosed by another hospital . Upon meeting him his first words were he did not believe the report from the hospital highly suspicious of that diagnosis . Immediate second needle biopsy and his suspicions were true my lump was malignant . Had it not been for his professional expertise I do not know where I would be in a few months . I had my surgery my treatments to come I thank this man for giving me my life back .

Mamo Monday, ultrasound Tuesday, biopsy on Wednesday and surgery 1week after mamo! Dr moves fast and sure. I am so grateful to this wonderful doctor who knew exactly what he was looking at and fixed it! He gave my family and me all the time and attention we wanted. To me , running late meant he was giving others he same consideration he was giving us. I am forever grateful to him.

He was an absolute professional.Was very honest with me. He was able to tell me my options, and his opinion. He moved very fast, and I ended up with a diagnosis of Breast Cancer, stage 1. I received a lumpectomy, chemo and radiation and have a 97% chance of beating my cancer. They are very involved with clinical trials and are very caring and competent.

Voiced his frustration during interview. Had novice practitioner take the history--history was erroneously reported in the record. Had not reviewed records when he saw me. Was unable to answer several direct questions about treatment options. Seemed preoccupied and unconcerned.
