He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology in 1974 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine. After several years in the United States Air Force, he completed his fellowship in gynecologic oncology in 1978 at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Hoogerland is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and gynecologic oncology. He has been with Columbia St. Mary’s since 1980.
