When a provider goes above and beyond, this is what I experienced. Dr. Eilers has been my eye doctor for a number of years. I was always happy with my care . On Christmas Day, I woke with a dark shadow over 3/4s of my eye. I had vision on my far left edge. I called the day after Christmas, shared information with his receptionist. I was put on hold while she was talking with Dr. Eilers who was not yet in the office. To complicate things, I was in rehab following back surgery. His office made arrangements with my rehab facility and within an hour I was headed to his off. I was examined and referred to an excellent Retina specialist at Phillips Eye Institute, for the next day. And on the third morning I had surgery on Saturday Phillips Eye Institute. But one important note, Dr Eilers office was scheduled to be closed the day I called. His receptionist patiently listening to me, recognizing the seriousness of my problem. Suddenly their day of cleaning the office, turned to… saving my eyesight. I’ll be forever grateful .

I recently had cataract surgery. I had heard some horror stories and admit I was a bit nervous. I needn't have worried at all. Dr. Eilers was thorough, reassuring and the surgery went without a hitch. I feel fortunate to have him as my eye doctor and would recommend him to anyone having cataract surgery or any other eye problem.

I came to Dr. Eilers on a referral from my regular clinic, due to an eye condition that worsened suddenly during an out-of-town trip. Dr. Eilers and his staff were an oasis of healing and support. My eye is healed and I couldn't be happier!
