To call this man or anyone in his practice a professional is a joke. My daughter was utterly devastated that a local doctor cannot perform laser surgery for her skin grafts from her burn injuries that she incurred 10 years ago. She had been receiving regular treatments in Gainesville, and we hoped to find a good doctor close to home. This practice told my daughter that “there is nothing that we can do for you.” I advise that you skip this clown and his practice. FIND A REAL DOCTOR!!!! Run away from this one!!!

Don’t do it if you are there get a refund and find someone else. He treated my wife like less than a person talked badly about the Doctor that referred us to him. Ignored us I don’t mean he didn’t answer questions he acted like we didn’t speak at all. He only cares about bossing around his residents and teaching them to be the next generation of incompetent doctors. So don’t make our mistake and stay away.

I went in for what I thought was a breast reduction and was left deformed but that was not the worst! I was left fighting for my life! I did not have proper care and I had to have emergency surgery and a lengthy hospital stay. Afterwards, an RN for home care for months! I fought for my life. It took a year to heal physically but mentally I am scared for life. I am left with no breast and many insecurities!

Terrible experience!! You will not see Dr. Smith you will see one of his residents. His resident performed my surgery with no supervision. My incisions were stitched improperly and all 3 wounds have separated. Over a month after surgery my wounds are still oozing and bleeding. To top it off the office claims I can only come back for a follow-up one day out of the week. I called on a Thursday and was told I couldn't be seen until THE FOLLOWING WEEK!!! Talked to multiple people at USF they all told me the same thing. Please avoid Dr. Smith.

Worst Experience I've had dealing with a doctor. Not very personable and referred all my questions to his assistant Laura... Laura who couldn't answer any of my questions while I was in the office but who told me she would follow up with a phone call. She never called, never returned multiple phone calls. Now am being charged for something that was never a part of the initial visit. Also, Dr Smith doesn't do the surgery, a resident does. When it comes to plastic surgery, not worth it!!

He did my breast reduction on yesterday. I early feel any pain mostly just soreness. I must say he made me feel confident, loved and at ease. I felt safe in his hands. I would not hesitate to have another procedure done by him.

I saw this doctor 2 times and all together the time spent with me was less than 5 mins. I had intern after intern had surgery to remove extra skin due to weight loss a 8 inch band all the way around me i got a seroma and a big wound on my tailbone it has been 8 weeks now and i still have only seen him 2 times and i still have a wound on my tailbone oh ya the most important part my left side is flat and my right side has muffin top not very happy would not send my worse enemy to him!!!!!!

I had my existing implants removed due to scar tissue and new implants inserted through the plastic surgery residency program. From Laura, Dr. Smith's Administrative Assistant through the hospital staff, I received excellent care. As an Administrative Officer myself, I felt Laura went above and beyond by checking with my insurance company to see if they would cover any of the expense, which they did. The whole process was the best and I've had numerous surgeries in the past. I'd recommend Dr. Smith and his team to anyone. Next is a tummy tuck and mini face lift.
