I have so much confidence and respect for Dr Kantor that I have continued to go to him even though I have lived 300 miles away for the past 24 years. He spends the time to listen and explain and when necessary, refers me to the very best specialists for my needs.

I have been going tp Dr Kantor and his father since 1982. Dr David Kantor is an excellent doctor. He actually listens to you and he is very caring and compasionate.

Dr. Kantor takes his time to discuss problems with you. He cares deeply about his patients. He has converted to electronic records. While his wait times were extremely long at times, they have improved greatly and the care and thoroughness are well worth the time.

Dr. Kantor is a very caring and dedicated doctor. He certainly marches to his own drummer and is not subject to the whims of group practice rules, preferring to practice on his own and spend his time as he wishes. Dr. Kantor will spend as much time as is necessary to discuss things with you; sometimes an hour or more when needed. The trade off for this is extremely long waiting times...sometimes 3 hours after your appointment time. Also, Dr Kantor does not use a computer to keep your records so he spends a great deal of time flipping back and forth in your chart trying to coordinate your various issues. If he used a computer it would be right in front of him. I find this a serious negative but I am a proactive patient and always have my list and watch my lab reports. Dr. K also can be rather blunt. I do maintain however that he has a heart of gold. If you are ill; he will not abandon you no matter the hour or the day. He also will take shabby insurance plans that other doctors… in St Louis will not accept. Saint Louis is very lucky to have this doctor!
