Dr. David Michael Lefler, DO

I've known Dr Lefler as a patient for 6 years. He is always very considerate, patient and caring. He listens and understands what you are going through. He offers the best care medically as well. He calls other doctors when referring and makes sure they are aware of all the details of care. I'm very blessed that he is my doctor.

Dr. Lefler was recommended to me, his staff told me they'd need a written referral. Which my doctor at the Cleveland Clinic had to send twice. Upon my follow up call, to see if they received the referral the reply was "he's unable to see me a in a timely fashion and he's booked out six months". Why don't they tell prospective patients that at the beginning?

I've been seeing Dr. Lefler for several years now, having seen a few other Nephrologists before. He is outstanding! You have his complete attention and he really listens to what you have to say. I find that pretty rare. He always gives good guidance and advise, and always with a smile. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Lefler is a very good Doctor. I have been in his care for just over a year now and he is very caring and willing to listen to you when you have something to say. He takes his time and answers all questions or concerns one may have. I am a transplant patient who has gone from the beginning from pre-failure to dialysis and transplant with KHC Alaska. I and have found the Team at KHC helpful and caring in all aspects of care. I highly recommend KHC Alaska and their doctors. You won't find a better team in Alaska!

We were sad to see this doctor leave our town. I don't half blame him as the town is closing up.
