Dr. David Evans, MD

I’m dying at 33 because he brushed me off. I was so hopeful to get help from Dr. Evans. My legs had been swelling since March and I was getting short of breath. They ran an ekg and it was normal. He came in and hyperfixated on the fact that I said I cannot get pregnant because I don’t date men. He looked at my legs, didn’t even touch them, and said “that’s not edema, that’s venous insufficiency.” He offered no treatment, no education, no further testing. He ignored everything I said about the pitting and fluctuations in the size of my legs. I am a nurse. I knew what it meant. He didn’t care. 8 months later, I find out I am in severe congestive heart failure and now, my 7 year old daughter who has already lost her father will be orphaned. I could have gotten help so much sooner. But he didn’t care. He didn’t listen. I would sue, but I doubt I’ll live long enough to see a win. Take yourself and your family to anyone else. Please. Your life may depend on it.

Dr. Evans is a good doctor, but he has some of the most hateful and rude staff sitting behind the desk I've ever encountered. His female nurse hasn't returned calls to me after leaving more than on message. The ugly staff gets him a 2.

he has had a difficult time figuring out my problem but it was not his fault. i didnt have insurance of the means to get test done for two years and finally i do and as soon as i did he was on the ball helping me and scheduling me for everything needed. I really like him because he listens and is straightforward with you. I was scheduled for test the next business day which normally would take two weeks to get these kind of test scheduled. I appreciate everything he has done for me. They also stayed till 7pm talking to me before we started scheduling things. He takes time to listen so thats why there may be a long wait, it's not because he's goofing off. He doesn't rush you out the door if you are having problems.
