Dr. David M Johnson, MD

I was very nervous when he raised his voice at me because I didn't agree with his recommendations.

Living in NJ had one family physician for 15 years, was very satisfied with his services. Moved to SC 20 years ago and have had several doctors, none of them fit all of my high standards. My family started to see Dr Johnson several years ago. We are all extremely satisfied with his services. In my experience, Dr Johnson, is a knowledgeable physician who gives you personal attention. One example: I have an under active thyroid, have taken meds daily for this for 50 years (I am 77?) and periodically tested for levels. When I first met Dr Johnson he had reviewed my records and took time to explain what the results were and his recommendation. One action was to change my meds, no other recent Dr had done this. I followed his recommendation and have greatly improved my test results and my health. Subsequent appointments he continued to display expertise and personal attention to my health. These were my personal experiences with Dr Johnson and my family members also have… expressed their satisfaction with his services. Thank you, Dr Johnson

Seriously, find someone else. He told me I had to follow his recommendations or I'd be fired. When I told him I wasn't comfortable, he fired me from the practice.

Rude. Short. Condescending.

He was indifferent & inaccurate in his diagnosis...we've parted ways

We parted ways with Dr. Johnson...we were violently sick for 4 weeks & he was completely indifferent...turns out I had pneumonia & in hindsight likely coronavirus....bad experience

Does not follow through with tests and does not listen to patients grave concerns of their illness. He judges and moves on fast without seeing the consequences of the true poor health the patient is in. I can not lose another family member because of his lack of attention to critical needs.

I saw dr. David Johnson two years in a row for my yearly physical. He was curt, inattentive and made me feel like an inconvenience. I tried to transfer to an associate within that same practice and was then denied services, dismissed from the practice, hmmm. I guess they don't take kindly to criticism. Will seek true care elsewhere. If I could give him a 0 star I would.

I feel very fortunate and blessed that Dr. Johnson was willing to take me on as my personal Physician. While caring and compassionate, he certainly gets down to business to assure we efficiently get to any root cause of a problem. His 25 years of service to our fighting men and women as a Physician and Major in the Army show. LOVE IT! His follow through is superb. I have NEVER had to reach back to assure any referrals were made or other Dr. Appt were scheduled. I generally get a call within a few hours of seeing him from the other physicians office. Thank you Dr. Johnson for your selfless service to our country and to your patients (me :-))

Doesn't listen. Doesn't follow up when test results are fine but I'm still sick. Need got my referral. I'm young so he doesn't take my sickness seriously. Very disappointed.
