Dr. Mateo was the only OB at the hospital when I was giving birth & he was extremely rude & dismissive when I told him I’d arranged to do delayed clamping yet he cut the cord anyways & dismissed everything I said to him if I could give him negative stars I definitely would. If he is the only OB on the floor clench your legs & please RUN to another hospital !!!

Dr. Mateo - was the best. He ALWAYS took the time to explain EVERYTHING - he was caring and compassionate and always LISTENED to me. I was so sad when he left his PSL practice.

I can't say enough about this man. He treats you like his own family member. I had so many questions and he sat beside me in a chair and made me feel confident about my procedure. He's remarkable with the Robotic Surgery and I couldn't say more about his expertise, but more importantly his bedside manner as a Dr. Outstanding work.

During an extremely traumatic health crisis at the er, Dr. Mateo was calm and steady. He is knowledgeable and does his job well. He covers all his bases and at the end of the day you know he has listened to every concern and done his very best to accommodate. I could have died had it not been for his expert surgery and care. God bless him.

I enjoy Dr. Mateo's caring thoughts and thinking skills that he puts into his practice. I am a learner and I like to take the time to review my medical reports and then make educated decisions that are necessary for my health; I finds that Dr. Mateo allows me to make such decisions without a rush including, answering my questions on side effects and recommended procedures... I highly respect his medical skills and knowledge. I hope to continue in his medical care. 4/4 for me! Awesome Dr. Mateo, keep up the excellence.

Dr. Mateo is very 'black and white' about matters, but knows exactly what he is talking about. Although the office staff/waiting time is not be great (with a few exceptions of course as some of the ladies are super friendly) I continue to go their because I trust his medical opinion and the true care/thought he puts into issues that may be occuring whether pregnant or not. He is a wonderful doctor I would recommend to any females I know.
