This Doctor and his team are very courteous and professional. They have done everything possible to treat my fathers pancreatic cancer. I feel very comfortable with the care my father has received. Dr. McAneny was the second surgeon I saw with regards to a hyperactive parathyroid issue. While the other surgeon had no bedside manner, would not listen to my concerns, and wanted to "monitor" my situation, Dr. McAneny listened carefully as I recounted what I was going through, what my concerns were, and really heard everything that I had to say about the situation. Though I had well-researched hyperparathyroidism and the parathyroidectomy, he explained each bit to me, took time to answer my questions and my father's questions about the procedure and complications.My surgery turned out to be far more complicated than anticipated, with more than one gland being problematic, and one of them hiding. But Dr. McAneny, being experienced, was able to find the other problematic gland. The incision was beautifully done and I've been told by several people is hardly noticeable and will heal nicely over the next few months.His staff is absolutely fantastic as well and have answered any concerns… I've had following the surgery. I'd certainly recommend him.

I have never seen a doctor that cared about his patients well being as much as Dr. McAneny does. He works diligently with other doctors (primary care, heart, etc) to ensure proper patient recovery and treatments. He is an excellent doctor and I highly recommend him as a surgeon.
