Great MD, and he listens.

I'll certainly recommend Dr Odegaard, even though that might make it more difficult to make my own appointments.

Dr. Odegaard let me know his concern about my glucose numbers and steps that I neeeded to take to get in alignment and not have lows and rebound highs. Started getting on the elliptical machine - not daily yet but getting there. Encouraged better use of the glucose pump.

Over the last year & a half, I've been able to get to see Dr Odegaard ONE TIME! He's cancelled 3 out of the last 4 visits that I had waited for 4 months each time. The last 2 scheduled appointments, his office says he won't be in office and I will have to reschedule. Do they squeeze me in or bump someone else to get me in, since I've been waiting 4 months and then 8 months? No. "We can get you in, in another 4 months". So, you want me to wait an entire year to see my endo? Sorry, finding a new provider. If you want to be able to actually SEE your endo...don't use Dr Odegaard. And, it pains me to say that, because I really liked him when I could actually see him. But, I'm done. I will be finding a new endo. People rely on you David! I don't know what you're going through, but at the very least make sure your patients that have been waiting over half a year to see you because of your cancellations, get in FIRST and are accommodated FIRST! Just feels like you don't care… about your patients very much.

I've been seeing Dr. Odegaard for 9 years. He is professional and friendly. He talks about my condition but also about other things so I feel relaxed.
