Dr. David Wei Ouyang, MD

I was sent to Dr Ouyang by my regular OB due to preeclampsia risk early on in my pregnancy. This is my 2nd pregnancy and my daughter was born at 35 weeks premature in 2015. At my 1st visit he spent over 40 minutes going over my medical history and expectations of what this pregnancy could entail. He answered all my questions. When we went for our high risk ultrasound scan at 22 weeks he was very nice to my husband who had a lot of ?s (as most do). He remembered everything about my medical history and asked if I was keeping up w/ my medications. My husband felt much better about my condition after meeting with Dr O. His bedside manor is great. Not sure about the other comments posted on here but he is a nice man who really does care about your health and your baby.

my first impressions of Dr. Oyang was that he is very direct yet can seem heartless and cold when asking him questions. The second time I saw him I was thrown off when he introduced himself to me like he's never met me before. That made me feel very uncomfortable. I mean does he not keep track or review his patient's records before seeing them? I plan on changing doctors soon. I want someone who cares about their patients needs and wants..

Unfortunately I feel that this doctor was thoughtless and insensitive during me level 2 scan. He sent me away telling me that my scan and measurements were perfect, but that his subjective thoughts were that I needed a rescan in 6 weeks. We begged for more explanation and he couldn't give anything other than he does these ultrasounds all day and it's something he think he sees, even though every thing looked perfect. I spoke to my regular OB who had talked to him and he eased my fears and said that there's no place for a subjective opinion or gut feeling in medicine and to go ahead thinking my pregnancy is perfect.

Dr. David Oujang is amazing. He was so kind. I had a CVS at 12 weeks and was terrified both of procedure but more so the results and he truly had comforting words. As I waited for the results, I kept thinking about what both he and the fellow said and I felt better. Very difficult experience but this doctor handled it exceptionally. Very kind and spent time explaining things, encouraging, and yet realistic. I trusted him technically as well - he completed the procedure perfectly with no complications. I would highly recommend him.

Dr ouyang is clearly very technically proficient, and for that I can't fault him. However, his bedside manner leaves something to be desired. I found him to be condescending and cool during my appointment. It felt as though he was doing me a favor rather than providing me with a service I was paying for. I would not recommend him unless other options have been exhausted. However, as this is a major metropolitan area, that shouldn't be an issue.

Fantastic provider. One of the best doctor visits I have experienced due to his efficiency, spending enough time but not too much, and speaking clearly and considerate of my husband and my profession as well as our family.

I first met Dr. Ouyang after being admitted to the hospital for cervical change during a difficult pregnancy. Immediately, he was engaging and addressed all members of my family in the room. His opinion, plan of action, and answers to my abundance of questions were very thoughtful and thorough. Never did I feel like he was rushed. At that visit as well as the visit next day in the hospital room, I always felt that he really was interested in my care and the success of the pregnancy instead of treating me as another patient he has to get to.Excellent bedside manner, very knowledgeable and speaks with much thought behind his words.!!

Dr. Ouyang delivered my daughter via c-section and was also the doc to circumcize my son. He is professional and extremely smart, but he's also very personable and hard not to love! He seems to listen and care very very much about his patients.

I had a very complicated rare twin pregnancy. One of my twins had fetal super ventricular tachycardia. I was sent to him by my regular OB doctor. I will admit at first I wasn't crazy about this "new" doctor I'd never met who told me the possible outcome of our pregnancy. I quickly realized how awesome he was. He always took the time to explain everything to me. He watched my pregnancy very closely. Due to his knowledge and excellent care I am proud to say that my twins were born 100% healthy with no problems.

I was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia and Dr. Ouyang was the Resident in charge of my case. First, I thought he was so attractive and just knew I could not have an asian man who looked that good looking in between my legs (smile). But, when he sat down and talked to me with the most compassionate tone, I was putty in his hands. I was scared and completely untrusting of those "what I saw as" inexperienced resident. Dr. Ouyang delievered my daughter at 28weeks and she is now a healthy 5 year old. If it was not for his wonderful, compassionate bedside manner, my daughter and myself would probably be dead now. Because I had not intention of delivering her early. I would recommend him to anyone and in fact, I would love to have him as a consult for any future pregnancies I may have.
