Went to the ER. From the moment I walked in and was discharged I was dissatisfied. I tried more than once to tell my history, my symptoms and was ignored. The Doctor and staff I encountered were not busy, but had poor listening skills and failed to serve the patients needs. I was feeling very weak, and complaints of pain, fever's and duration as well as trying to explain what my history was that brought me to ER. I GIVE ALL EMPLOYEES A FAIL GRADE. The only positive treatment was a prescription for an Antibiotic, penicillin. I shared I had several allergies to medications. The Doctor stated....after I told him I could provide more detail as it was in my Treating Physician's Portal. " well were not going to look" I was Diagnosed with a possible abscessed toothache. A few days later....A CAT SCAN Showed Enlarged Spleen and recent prior infarcts. I was in so pain having to walk out of The ER I had to sit twice before I could walk out to the car parked by the entrance. I told the Discharge… nurse I did not have an abscess tooth! I complained to patient liaison, and was frustrated. It was as if I had to convince him to have this matter looked into. After 22mins on the phone!
