Dr. David R. Saenger, MD

I was referred to Dr. Saenger for my shortness of breath problems. In Oct. 2018 he did my right and left sided heart cath, which revealed no problems. Instead of digging further to try and figure out what was causing my symptoms, he washed his hands of me. He basically told me that my issues were not cardiac in nature, and that I should lose 30 pounds and seek further testing with another dicipline. So, 8 months later, thousands of extra dollars spent on pulmonologist, sleep medicine, and additional unnecessary labs, I have been diagnosed with left ventricular outflow tract obstruction....yeah, cardiac. So, would not recommend Dr. Sanger.

Dr. Saenger is knowledgeable, but he is extremely arrogant and abusive. He once called me on the phone and yelled at me because I had asked the patient advocate to find someone to help me with medication management. He was screaming on the phone and I have had several nightmares since then. I have been told by staff at his office that he is also abusive to his coworkers.
