Dr. David George Scholz, MD

We have been seeing Dr. Scholz for many years and we don't plan on changing. He is the best. Very thorough and very caring. His personality never changes. Very pleasant. What makes us sad is that there are so few around like him. I highly recommend him and his practice.

The staff were great and treated you well. The only complaint was trying to schedule which was playing phone tag.

Dr. Scholz is wonderful! He's so kind and caring and I was so impressed with everyone from the front desk, to the nurses, to the anesthesiologist, to the doctor! This was my 3rd colonoscopy done at Charlotte Gastro and I highly recommend! My husband has gone to a different practice which shall remain unnamed and would never go back so I told him to go to Charlotte Gastro! They made my experience so much easier and calming.

Dr Scholz is the best he take the time to explain your diagnosis and options you can consider with your health.

Dr. Scholz has been my doctor since 1990. If one wants to know an efficient kind physician, ask a nurse ??! He never leaves a “stone unturned “. Not only is he thorough, Dr. Scholz’s bedside manner is stellar! This nurse has also sung with him, a wonderful baritone! Ask him to sing you to sleep with the propofol! LOL

Dr. Scholz and the practice are extremely conscientious and have such warm and comfortable patient care. I am made to fill heard, which is something that I don't always feel/get everywhere. So pleased with what has transpired thus far.

Highly recommend Dr Scholz and Charlotte Gastro for any related needs. From scheduling to completion of procedure and discharge, the staff was superb, professional and caring. Facility was very clean, especially with Covid guidelines. Dr Scholz explained in detail the procedure in layman’s terms. Made me feel very comfortable. He was very prompt and thorough. His staff explained test initial results, and Dr Scholz followed up within a week with a written summary as promised.
