The staff and doctor are extremely helpful and honest. I don’t understand the negative reviews regarding the staff since I have been seeing him for several years and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Sisam is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Wait time was 10 min then 5 in the room, not bad at all. Some of the staff is rude and needs to retire. The other staff make up for the one lady.

Office treats you like an inconvenience to them. Get attitude quickly. Not a "customer" friendly office. Finally had enough, changed doctors.

I saw many endos with no help at all. God brought me to Dr Sisam. What a God send. Dr Sisam and his staff are awesome so thankful for finding him. Highly recommend!

Best endocrinologist doctor in the south. Dr. Sisam is incredibly smart. To my knowledge, he's been practicing for 36 years. He even practiced at the Cleveland clinic. That is amazing. He knows how to get your body back on track. He has the best bedside manner. He comes in the patient room, sits on the small little stool and really listens to every word you say. He does not rush his patients. His staff is very hardworking and incredibly nice individuals. I've witnessed them try to handle hundreds of phone calls. They call patients, return calls, all while seeing numerous patients in office. They always try to accommodate every patient, even the hostile patients. Just like any office, they handle urgencies first. Dr Sisam, his wife Julie, and staff are very thorough, caring and attentive. I see Dr sisam twice a month. I know each person in that office. In response to some of the reviews on this page.... They do give you an office policy. Policies are put in place for those "no show"… patients, hostile patients, noncompliant patients etc. Like most solely operated offices, you must call within 24 hrs to cancel an appointment or pay $25 fee. Again, Dr sisam is a private clinic. If every patient didn't show up, he wouldn't be able to make a living. Furthermore, patients who urgently needed to see Dr sisam could've been seen if the "no show" patients would've just canceled their appointment. Dr. Sisam is on call 24/7 everyday of the year. You can leave a message with the answering service if you are calling on the odd hour days. I know his staff and Dr Sisam gets every message. I've called on a Friday, left a message with answering service, and my call was returned later that evening. I see Dr Sisam. My Dad sees Dr. sisam. I would recommend Dr sisam to anyone. You will not find a better, more caring, or more educated physician.

Dr. Sisam is great by himself. I have been seeing him for 10 years. If you have a question though, you almost need to grab him and hold him down. He is way overbooked and has 10,000 patients. He is in and out before you can say anything sometimes. If all is well and you're just there for a routine visit, this isn't a big issue. He needs those blood work numbers to determine anything anyway. If you have problems, it can be a problem. Other times, he's quite chatty. His wife is the office manager and WOW she is something else. If you catch her on a good day, she's quite helpful. Cross her though... and you'll be dropped as a patient. Then there's the phone thing.... they don't answer on Monday or Friday. And that they do everything by hand - appointments, payments, etc. No credit cards... cash or check only. If you can deal with all of that, Sisam does know his stuff.

The staff as others have noted is rude, unfriendly and unprofessional. The wait time to get to the exam room is usually 45 minutes or more. Then another 20 minutes in the exam raoom eaiting for the doctor to show up. He then spend 2-3 minutes with you and out the door. Then you're back to the waiting room for another 15-20 minutes waiting on paperwork. I called yesterday and again today to reschedule an appointment. Both times I was rudely told they were too busy to reschedule. This afternoon I was told by the receptionist to call back on Wednesday next week (today is thursday) to try again because they were too busy and would be stuck there until 7 pm with patients. I never did get to reschedule. I told her just to cancel my appointment but she wouldn't do that either. So I guess they will try to charge me for not showing up. Tough cookies for them. I am searching for a new doctor.

I had no complaints about the doctor. He was able to figure out my issues and find treatment that works. His staff was awful to me when I called. They really need a refresher on customer service. One nurse, or staff member insulted me.
