Dr. David Brian Stanton, MD

Dr David B Stanton is a wonderful doctor! I have been going to his office on and off for several years. He listens and cares about his patients. My only problem with him is he doesn't have a large appointment window. His staff on the other hand is not at all friendly. They are very unpersonable, barely polite and do not show a willingness to assist patients. If you need refills on medications the pharmacy and patient often have to make SEVERAL calls to get them refilled. This is not the treatment I am used to receiving from this office. It seems there has been a large turnover of help in his office. In addition, when needing to make a payment by credit card their policies aren't the most convenient and gives one the impression they don't trust their own employees with our credit card information. If this is the case how secure is our personal information? Since moving over to United Gastro there are have been too many changes that are not favorable for the patient.

If you need a mouthpiece for 'TMJ' (bruxism, lockjaw) this doctor will certainly help you. If you have a prolonged jaw- disorder, expect no help. Prolothgerapy has been used to treat subluxating jaws since the 1930s's.....not only was this clown not trained to administer it, but he lack the acumen to diagnose a chronically subluxating jaw. The fact that i fit his entire hand between my jaw and my ear meant absolutely nothing to him. He is inept. To say this doctor is knowledgeable about jaw-disorders is like saying that the person who constructs your hamburgers at Burger King is a chef......but then, you might be one of the millions who are led to believe that you have 'neuralgia' (or, the more demeaningly diagnosed, 'atypical facial pain'). It is unfortunate. Though, unfortunately, the incentive for TMJ doctors to evolve within the full scope of jaw disorders will never come to pass.

I just love Dr. Stanton! He has been treating me and my whole family for years. He is so compassionate and kind and really listens to what you have to say. He has been treating my stomach issues and has helped me tremendously. I highly recommend him!

I have been going to Dr. Stanton for several years and my family has been treated by him for a long time as well. He is the nicest, most patient doctor. You can talk to him easily and he is very sympathetic. He is also a very competent and highly recommended doctor in Orange. Very satisfied with him, the only drawback is sometimes you have to wait a month or more to see him (but I look for cancellations and usually can get it that way)
