Dr. David T. Greco, MD

Not the place for health care----or care of any sort. Money driven, rude office and Dr. Greco should not be seeing patients at all. We trust doctors to help us and those we care about. We trust our internists to make intelligent referrals. No-------------other doctors have no idea what goes on here otherwise NO ONE would be referred to this office or Greco.

It is unconscionable to treat patients and families as he does. His wallet matters--not patients. AVOID. Had I not gone to another office....this wouldn't be written today.

This office is a money making machine with little care given to patients who expect respect, returned phone calls, lack of unnecessary testing and competent medical care. People fall through the wide holes in this practice and it is disgusting. Even though I was a patient here once years ago-- I mistakenly brought my parent here. It is a huge practice and doctors tend to just refer patients here. These doctors have no idea what actually goes on as the neurologists treat their colleagues differently than they treat their patients. That is very clear. My patient was completely dismissed and treated like an insignificant being. My calls were NEVER acknowledged let alone returned. Special test results from other doctors were not even looked at despite being hand delivered by me to Dr. Greco. He did not even look at them. It was APPALLING and it is going on each day. Others may not take the time to write but, if I were a patient or caregiver, I would stay clear of this office. Dr. Greco… seems to be staring at his computer screen without listening to any concerns or answering any questions. It is as if he is bored by the patient and couldn't care less. When scheduling an appointment with Dr. Greco you will be seeing a nurse or a PA without your consent at times. This is just rude. If I am not being scheduled with a doctor all other offices tell me there are no appointments available and a PA or nurse visit is all you can have. Bear in mind that you are charged for seeing him even when you do not see him. Big Pharma plays a huge role in this office. He is taking loads of money in speaking fees, etc. I have seen full page ads taken out an dads posted by drug manufacturers about Greco speaking for them. Do not be fulled. He is being paid a very substantial amount of money to speak on their behalf and you will be prescribed the drugs he is being paid to prescribe. Complete shame that innocent people waste their time and hard earned money here.

Dr. Greco (and ths entire huge office) is taking a lot of kickbacks from Big Pharma. Everyone in the office is fed three times a day by carts of food (provided by pharmaceutical salespeople) coming off the office elevator Grco takes huge sums from pharamceutical companies for speaking, etc and I find it unethical. My appointments were not useful and he could not have seemed more disinterested. Would not recommend him or this office to anyone expecting to be treated like a human being who needs help.

This office is all about money and what it can get from pharamceutical companies. Do your research about this. I would not recommend Dr. Greco or Dr. Markind to my worst enemy. Was treated like I did not matter in the least. Went to another office--could not be more pleased with that one.

I see Dr Greco for migraines. so i had a hernia repair in 2013 ands when I woke from the surgery I couldn't lift my leg after my hernia repair at danbury hospital.the surgeon kept saying that there was nothing wrong or that i hurt my hip during surgery and my back i started to see an orthopedic he said that there was no hip problem or spinal cord injury. My Orthopedic surgeon said we need to do an EMG so i said i would like to see Dr Greco because he is my doc. I went and he performed the EMG and said i found something wrong in the groin area and I'm not going to wright this up. I will speak to your surgeon and look over the MRI and get you better, after a week never heard from him, followed up with my surgeon a week later and said did u talk to the Dr. greco? and he explained that there was nothing wrong and told Dr greco the same . I called Dr Greco immediately and asked for my report when I got it he wrote it up as inconclusive . He covers for his colleague. I was never more… disappointed by a heath care provider. Its been almost two years and I still cant lift my leg.

I often wonder if anyone at this office has ever had to deal with a parent who has Alzheimer's and comprehends what it is to get them to an appointment. What this office is most concerned with is pharmaceutical companies and kickbacks including meals at all times of the day for everyone (and I mean everyone) on the staff. Dr. Greco could not have seemed more bored or disinterested in my parent. He was quick to order tests that were not even needed. I switched to another neurologist in solo practice and it is a totally different experience. We are treated like human beings there and phone calls are returned.

I agree with Dr. Greco's attitude of not really seeming to care at all. He is dismissive and I have made appointments with him only to be told I am seeing a PA or a nurse instead. I am charged as if I have actually seen Dr. Greco. I have never had even one of my phone calls returned.
