Dr. David Andrew Thorsett, MD

Dr. Thorsett is much more than a physician. Not only is he a meticulous surgeon, but he truly cares about his patients. He explains everything thoroughly and listens to your needs. Dr. Thorsett has performed surgeries on both of my knees, left elbow, and right shoulder, in Silverton and before that, in Salem. My experiences have always been very positive. To the person that had a bad nurse experience, I can’t imagine Dr. Thorsett would have allowed that treatment had he known. I haven’t had an experience in Stayton but I expect if I need future surgery, I will get the best treatment because of his high standards.

Dr. Thorsett himself was great. However, his nurse was rude and unpleasant.

Dr. Thorsett is a very kind and compassionate doctor who really listens and resolves issues. He has helped me so much.

Dr.THORSETTE is amazing, his work with my knee replacement is changing my life,the honesty and the care i received from his whole team is beyond my expectations. I have a long road ahead of me, but he told me that it would not be easy! And as much as I know that now,I'm excited to see the results!

I was completely full of fear going into this appointment and I walked away knowing Iâ??m in the best hands ! I fell like I have hope of anew active life with great results.

I have had six Knee surgeries from different Doctors. Dr. Thorsett is without a doubt the best. A good caring Doctor with a fantastic bedside manner.

Dr. Thorsett is amazing. I had been to so many Kaiser doctors over a three year period with no help whatsoever. Within a year Dr. Thorsett had me wanting to live again! He is a sweet, caring, exceptionally bright man and I will be eternally grateful for his help. He just did my mom's hip and while she was at the hospital I found out he was the number one rated doctor in the state!! She loves him as well and has had great success with VERY little pain from her replacement! Thanks Dr. Thorsett - you are the BEST!!

I have had two full and 1 partial knee replacements with Dr. Thorsett. All I can say is "Why did I wait so long?" I knew exactly what to expect when I had my surgeries at Silverton Hospital. Very nice preparation class with very helpful information on supplies that you may need, exercises and getting in and out of bed. Being prepared for the surgery and the recovery made the entire experience more pleasant. I walked in with a cane and walked out to the car on crutches. Dr Thorsett is the best!!!

Dr. Thorsett is the most caring and devoted doctor I've ever been to. He explains everything, gives you options, and his staff follows through on getting things scheduled before surgery. Its a very organized, friendly office. I highly recommend Dr. Thorsett and wouldn't dream of letting any other doctor do my surgeries after the horror stories I've heard about that Salem group.
