In an age where most psychiatrists want to see you as briefly as possible so that they can give you some medicine and bill your insurance, he will sit with you for an hour (or more) every week, just conversing. He's brilliant and wise and patient, very calm, very insightful. Definitely helped me to transform my life.

I reached out trying to become a patient after confirming through my insurance and through his own website that he was accepting new patients. You have to email him, apparently he can't hire someone to answer calls. Regardless, I explained that I am at my wits end, struggling horribly with depression, been clean almost 3 years and for telling first time, am ready to go out absolutely use. I begged that he could see me. I got a one line response. Not taking new patients. That is his reply. So I replied asking if he would recommend someone, again explaining I am really suffering and struggling and my life is sort of at stake. He never replied. He doesn't care at all about people or he would've at least recommended someone who is taking patients, even tho 2 places confirmed he is. So that's it. I'm high as a kite. And ruining my life. That's my faukt, but he could've replied. He could've suggested anything. Now I'm as good as gone.
