I had a bad cold, went to drop-in at Dr. Hayes' clinic just to have her listen to my chest to make sure I didn't have more than the cold. She said I needed an ear wash. She sent an assistant in, Megan, who used a tool with a tube and a spray bottle and had trouble getting anything out of the ear. The final squirt from this so called, professional tool, caused excruciating pain and she never was able to get any material from the ears. Dr. Hayes came in, gave me ear drops used for swimmers' ear to take home. I used them but they caused even more pain. My ear bled for two day, so I went back again. Dr. Hayes then told me she didn't think the trauma was caused by the ear washing. I had no problems with my ears when I came to the first visit. She gave me antibiotics and sent me home. I was finally able to get and appointment with my family doctor a few days later who said the inner ear was not infected but bright red and he eliminated the antibiotic. I finally saw the ENT, who then said the… inner ear was healed but I had experienced so much pain during this process that he felt the trauma had caused nerve damage. This all happened some time ago, and my ear is still sore and tender. How can I rate this office less than any stars!
