Dr. Dawna-Marie T Townsend-Fixott, MD

Dr. Fixxott is one of the best doctors I have ever known and I'm 64. I'm writing this because two of the negative reviews here just are false and say untruthful things - you see so much of that on the Internet. I needed help with a lot of things over the last 10 years with her and she's always helped me. I've never once had a problem with any of her staff. Usually they answer the phone, my ear nose throat doctor never answers his phone. The insurance and billing has always been done right, whereas my physical therapists office often had my insurance billing all messed up. I've had none of these problems with Dr. Fixxott. She helped me with chronic problems that other doctors failed to diagnose correctly. And she always gets me in right away. We are very lucky to have her in Redmond.

I was with her over 5 years and she is very unprofessional, unpredictable! She does not keep your meds or other medical records up to date. Very reckless. Also will refuse to refill chronic meds if you miss a payment. Avoid her.

I was her patient for years - Love her!!! Her staff is so bad - rude and unprofessional. I moved my care to a new doctor because of them. Her daughter is the office manager and is the most unprofessional woman I have ever spoken with. None of her staff have compassion - their files are stacked on desks and floors - they make really silly excuses about not following up for referrals. I feel terrible for Dr Fixott - she is fantastic, I don't think she is aware of the things that go on in her office. My records still have not be sent to my new doctor after more than six months and 2 written requests, I am not surprised.

Not enough instruction for condition care

The office always smells like a dirty diaper. The doctor spends very little time with you and never asks any questions and obviously never reads her charts.

I just seen Dr Fixott for the first time a couple days ago. It was the first time for me getting a new Doctor in a decade. I had a real bad experience ...

Terrible experience- long wait time/phone calls do not get returned/ and she seems to have a hard time keeping staff. I will not be returning.

Dr. Fixott remembers me and my concerns when I visit her office. I've never had any issues getting an appointment. Wait times are generally reasonable, however I have experienced longer wait times. I suspect this is partially because Dr. Fixott spends time with her patients and addresses more than one concern per visit.
