Dr. Dean Watzman, MD

Saw dr Watzman at Washington hospital. He was very patient, professional and very nice. If I were to describe a physician that checks all the boxes, it is him. But now I’m told he’s leaving. I drive from uniontown to see him. I won’t be driving to see anyone else this distance. He was worth it. .

I have always been severely short of breath. Any activity caused me to have to take a break. Since going to see this doctor I am so much better. He changed my inhalers around and now I can breath. Highly recommend. He is also a very nice doctor. He explains everything.

He leaves the door open. Let’s all of your medical information get out. You ask him why he claims it’s to protect me and you. Like what kind of answer is that. I ask for a test for narcolepsy because I’m having the symptoms. He won’t order a test. The office staff is absolutely rude. You call and ask for another script sent over. They take a week to do it. Or they send over the medication you don’t want. What kind of patient care is this...

very patient, answers all questions and explains everything in detail. I am definitely feeling so much better since seeing him. I have been seeing him for one year now. My cough and difficulty breathing is so much better. He is very kind as well and always like coming to his office.

I took my dad to many lung specialists in the city and they always were either in a hurry or just did not care. A person I work with recommended this physician and told me he would straighten it all out. He sat down and explained everything in terms even my 85 year old dad understood. Somehow he knew what was going on and had answers quite quickly. He was nice, caring and obviously smart. Our wait time was minimal. Office staff was so nice. Four doctors later and now we had a diagnosis. Unfortunately, not what I wanted to hear but when does a doctor give you good news.

He has spectacular bedside manner. He is very bright and explains how he comes up with his conclusions. I always knew when he walked in my room, he would be entering with a purpose. Highly doubt there is a better physician anywhere.

I went to several doctors with this burning chest pain. Every doctor said it was pleurisy and put me on Advil. I knew there was something more than this. Dr. Watzman is the only doctor to find the problem (which was asthma) and let me know I wasn't crazy. He actually sat down and went over all the tests with me. A doctor who cares about his patients. What a novel idea?

This doctor saved my life...enough said.

I saw this physician in his office in Beaver PA. The staff was excellent and appeared to really like their job. Dr. Watzman was very upfront with me so if you are looking for a doc that gives you a run around or sugar-coats things, he is not your doctor. However, after he told me of my diagnosis, he had a plan and made sure the wheels turned quickly. I was operated on 5 days later and now doing fine. If caring and determination are what you want in your doctor, then I highly recommend this one.

Dr. Watzmand was spectacular. I cannot help but write a review when i saw this website, My mom was extremely sick after having a cardiac arrest. Even though her prognosis was poor, I know she got the best care. Dr. Watzman spent time with our entire family and made sure we were comfortable with our decisions. I just hope this is the same physician who saw my mom at Westmoreland Hospital. Thank you.
