After 2 years of pain 8 shots 3 Doctors. Dr. Kirchmayer was the most informative Dr. I had seen . She was all about knowing I was in pain and what we might do to fix it.

I've been suffering from debilitating chronic pain for about 3 years. When my GP recommended me to Dr. Kirchmayer, I was hopeful. My experience was terrible. She would ask me a question, and then immediately dictate my response into her computer. If my response wasn't in a format she liked, she would ask me to rephrase it. I ended up having to simplify my responses and change my descriptions to fit her computer's format. I realized halfway through the appointment that I was not getting my point across to her at all. I've been holed up in my house for three years in debilitating pain. Her diagnosis: aches and pains associated with growing older. Her treatment plan: join the Y. I can't even walk around the grocery store, so I have no idea how I'm supposed to work out at the gym. She also proudly told me that the involuntary movements in my left hand are a type of clonus common in people who play violin. At that point, I was so fed up I didn't bother telling her I'm right… handed and have never touched a violin in my life. The funny thing is, as I was waiting in the exam room, I overheard a male doctor treating someone in another room. And I remember thinking "He sounds great! I hope he's my doctor." I left the office feeling like I'd lost the lottery. To top it all off, in addition to the bill I received from her office, I received a $150 "facilities fee" from Cone Health. So I got to pay over $200 to sit on an exam table for 20 minutes and listen to some lady talk to her computer. Thanks for absolutely nothing.
