Dr. Deanne Starr Endy, DO

Me and my Father have been going to this doctor for 4 or 5 years now. My experience isn't nearly as bad as his. I was told by one of the other doctors there, that I needed birth control and if I'm not on birth control I'm trying to get pregnant. Which is interesting considering I came there for concerns of fatigue and back pain. If I wanted to know about birth control, I'd go to a gynecologist. The only good thing Dr. Endy did for me was confirm my suspicion that I had anemia. My Dad on the other hand has been handed drugs constantly. She just throws drugs at him and sends him home. Well last night it put him in fear. He's having anxiety, shakes, trouble breathing and insomnia. We went to the hospital and they said he was having terrible side affects from what he was given. He has to wait it out and suffer until it completely comes out of his system. On top of it all. Dr. Endy is closed on a Wednesday, and he can't even call to seek help with how awful he feels. Basically, don't… go here.

I am writing this to help others. My experience with this doctor has not been good. She is very lax in getting back to patients on any lab work. I had blood work done, as I knew something was wrong - I had become very lethargic and had weariness in my arms and legs. It turned out I was severely anemic. Dr. Endy had my results for over 2 weeks and I had to call her office 3 times before she finally called me back to tell me that my blood count was 7.5 and should it get to 7.0, that I would need an emergency transfusion. She then told me to seek out a gynecologist because if I had another period, my health would be in danger. She then told me that I would, most likely, need a hysterectomy. Thankfully, I went to a good gynecologist, that took over my care, including my anemia - no extreme measures were needed after all. We are now going through a similar situation with my husband, where she has had results of his ultrasound for over a month, with no follow-up from her, despite… numerous phone calls - and he had to make his own appointment with Hershey Med to have a biopsy done, as her office did not schedule it, as they should have. While Dr. Endy is a nice woman, she is not a good doctor - at least, not one that cares enough to follow up with her patients or their health!

This woman is a quack! She's quick to drug and slow to refer for diseases she misunderstands. After she damaged a patient she covers up her mistakes. Young adults like to go to her because she's easy to get prescribed drugs to get high. She should have her license taken away.

Most caring doctor and staff EVER

I've been a patient of Dr. Endy's for many years. I believe she is the best doctor in Harrisburg , Pa. She actually saved my life, I feel she has a great personality and wonderful staff who work with her! I would recommend Dr.Endy to anyone who wants a highly nolegable , caring, and professional doctor . I have been to so many doctors after moving from Philadelphia to Harrisburg , and Dr. Deanne Endy is the very best!!!

I have had nothing but good results from Dr Endy. when i cut my thumb shesaw me every other day to check on progress and redress wound. I don't think this wound would have healed as quick with out her help. I also like when I have a visit she will listen to my questions. I have never felt rushed out of her office because of appoitments. She takes the time an listens. Sometimes I think her office were staff sets could be a little neater but I don't got for the spanking clean office if I don't feel I am getting the attention. A plie of papers does not a Doctor make and Dr Endy is a very good doctor.

Dr Endy bit disorganised, does not always remember patient information. Offices and waiting room need cleaning, pet hair etc: on chairs in waiting room. Very lax on follow up after blood tests usually have to call for results.

Dr. Endy actually listens when you talk to her! And the diagnosis is usually spot on. Thanks Dr. Endy for listening!
