Dr. Blenner is an excellent doctor. The office policies are ridiculous and set up to maximize insurance payment and subsequently your copays/coinsurance are high. For example, my well visit and presurgical clearance appointment were occurring at the same time of the year and could have been done at the same time. Instead, I had to make two separate appointments (taking off work twice) when the visits could have been combined. They are essentially the same since I am a well and compliant patient. Now I need follow up blood tests to check my cholesterol and I am "required"to make an appointment with the doctor before I get those tests even though I saw the doctor 3 months earlier for a well visit. I cannot just come in for blood work and must miss, yet again, 2 days of work and pay coinsurance for 2 visits. I have seen Dr. Blenner at least 5x in this past year and refuse to make all these excess appointments. Not only is it expensive and time wasting to me but it is gaming the insurance… company. I am sure it is the corporate policy that Dr. Blenner is an employee of but it has caused me to look for another physician even though I really think the doc is wonderful. I give her 5 stars and her corporate bosses a negative 5 (if I could!)

Caring doctor takes time with patients. I am patient and told my wife who also became a patient.

I just just moved here from Nassau and found Dr.Blenner in a Facebook group. She’s very thorough and nice. The staff is excellent and extremely helpful. Very happy here and will send my family too!

Dr. Blenner is absolutely HORRIBLE!! I went as a new patient & she didn't want to hear any issues I had... just a physical. She told me that I would need another appointment to tell her any issues. She only cares about the money. I waited 2 months for my appointment because of all the good reviews... who the heck wrote them because she is NOT a good doctor!!

My husband did a routine exam and Dr. Blenner found a high PSA. She kept calling to see if he had seen a Urologist. After the 3rd call, he finally went and found out he had low grade Prostate Cancer. When it was time for a follow up appointment, she called him (personally) again. She has called me when I had an irregular mammogram, as well. NEVER have a had a doctor personally call and push me to take better care of myself. She is simply amazing!

I agree with all of the previous raves about Dr. Blenner and her office. I searched for years to replace my previous doctor and have always been disappointed until I met Dr. Blenner. You are not hurried; your concerns are taken seriously and she is excellent at explaining medical concepts in layman terms. I have problems having blood drawn most everywhere, but not when Pat does it! I am so incredibly happy to have found Dr. Blenner and her staff!!

Dr. Blenner is an excellent doctor. She spends a lot of time with you and is very clear in explaining health issues and treatment options. She is extremely thorough and has a lot of patience. The three times I have been there, I did not have to wait at all. I was taken in right away. Patty the nurse, is very calming and makes you feel at ease when any tests or procedures are being performed. Pat the receptionist, always manages to squeeze you into an appointment at your convenience. She is also very efficient and quick with obtaining referrals and prior authorizations. This type of healthcare is hard to come by, take it from someone who works in healthcare. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this practice.

Recently had an amazing office visit with Dr. Deborah Brenner of Smithtown, NY. This was a first time consultation with a personal medical issue I started dealing with. The doctor listened with a friendly smile that everything would be okay. Received a thorough respectful, dignified examine. We talked about the best treatment(s) to try which would include traditional and alternative treatments if required. The first treatment recommended was traditional with a low dose and was quite amazed that it worked and am very happy. Dr. Deborah Blenner is a Passionate/Compassionate friendly with a smile Internal Medicine Physician who is now my primary. Thank you Dr. Blenner for the respectful pleasant office visit.
