Dr. Deborah Virginia Gross, MD

When I moved to Jackson, I was incredibly nervous about finding a new psychiatrist and finally getting diagnosed. When I saw Dr. Gross all that nervousness went away. She recommended a great doctor who diagnosed me and worked with me to find the best combination of medication. As someone who takes controlled medicines, she never came off as a pill pusher and never treated me skeptically. I felt completely at ease with her and everyone in her office. They were kind, accommodating, responsive, and truly cared about me during my time there. I would recommend her to anyone!

I was a patient of Dr. Gross from 1995-2005 when Katrina changed everyone's lives. I would still be her patient had circumstances been different after the storm. When I went to my appointments I was greeted with enthusiasm, a big smile, and frankly, I thought I was her only patient. She helped me get my life back. I gained knowledge of my disorder, confidence in knowing that all bad things were not my fault, encouragement to move forward and not keep looking back, and development of a "tool box" that would always keep me in check. Nearly 11 years later, I pull from my tool box when needed. She is the BEST of the BEST!
