Dr. Deborah Majchel Koss, MD

Update: from 11/23. After months of testing, tests that needed to be done, I had a tele-conference call with Dr. Majchel. She went to great lengths to explain all the results in detail to me, along with treatment options. We both agreed on an option that would be the best for me at this time. She couldn't have been more professional and nicer in easing my concerns. I am very happy and pleased that she took the necessary time with me to explain everything.

Have to wait on hold a very long time to leave a message or make an appointment. I had to have a plethora of tests done including an MRI of the brain, and after 11 days still waiting to find out results. This is after leaving multiple messages with staff who didn't know anything. Still waiting for results. Very unprofessional. If she is that busy, perhaps she should cut back on her new patients. I finally had to get all my lab work and my MRI results myself. Very disappointed the quality of care was not demonstrated.

Have been to a number of Endodcrinologists over the years. WIthout question Dr Majchel Koss is better than well-qualified. She and her staff are current on latest medications and issues dealing with diabetes, cares about her patients and caters to their needs. Her care, careful and no nonsense approach is appreciated greatly!

Visits to Dr. Majchel-Koss are always with no exception short! If you get 5 ~ 10 minutes you are fortunate. She looks over your past records, and test results if any and she's on to the next patient, no time or too little for you to ask questions etc.

It was a quick 10 minute first appointment. I got no feeling she was at all interested in my personal situation. She has a second chance with me coming up at the follow-up appointment. We will see whether I stay with her or not.

Doctor Koss is an excellent physician in every aspect of her profession who unfortunately at the time of my visits had an extremely incompetent nurse who's erroneous and misdirected involvement administratively over the doctor's staff as well as her own numerous medical foul ups, offset the doctor's excellent work. As such, I was compelled to seek a new endocrinologist elsewhere.

Had a broken arm out of state, saw her 5 minutes said I need a surgeon, sent me 35 miles away and they never called. Can't drive 35 miles with one arm. Office staff very rude and doctor gave me a script for flu shot which Walgreens said no it was too soon after I had other flu shot, doctor should have looked at chart.
