Dr. Deborah Fones Wong, MD

Dr. Wong is very cold. Matter of fact, no bedside manner. I was there with my father and she did not address him appropriately.

Dr Wong seems to be a competent Dr but has a very disfunctional office. Office is very dirty, dog poop in the exam rooms and generally filthy place to go.Receptionist looks like hooker, and nurse is nice, but odd. Dr. Wong pushes her vitamins and will not give refills on long term meds, you must get authorization every darn time, and hard to do when they are never there, and so not answere the phone. Not going back.

Dr Wong takes plenty of time to go over your ailments, She truly does care. The only issue may be that she spends so much time with her patients, that she tends to run late. Believe me, she's worth the wait

she is personable and spends time to REALLY LISTEN, i've never had a doctor before who really listens and really cares. this is a very small rural town and she is a high class doctor who moved here from a much higher socioeconomic class to save her daughter's life by living in a small community where she asked everyone she could to keep an eye out for her daughter, mainly the high school, but patients, new neighbors, all helped out and turned a 16 yr old girl who was in very bad trouble, back to her roots, her good foundation and the very beautiful individual she is inside (she worked as Dr's MA for some period, so we all got to know her). Dr. Wong lost her 3/4 million dollar house here plus a half million dollar house in the bay area to loan modifier scammers. she was ripped off by her real estate agent who did not protect her and the house needed thousands and thousands of dollars of repair. the job she moved up here to accept paid more and less hrs. perfect what she needed for… her daughters. She is a widow, her husband had sudden death young, at 46. This is how her daughter got in trouble unsupervised while she worked 24/7 in clinc, in hospital in bay area before she moved here -- which is how her daughter got in trouble and why she moved here. she has lost everything financially and to their credit her daughters stepped up to the plate. all 3 have worked for her for little or no compensation, and the are endearing to the patients. The dog is a service dog, no sadly passed away, and we loved him, he would soothe us, yorkie, in our laps as we waited and our BP's were amazing.This is an excellent doctor in perhaps the wrong place, or just struggling and at the end of her rope. The doctors in this community come and leave constantly. Dr. Wong is dedicated and wanted to make it work, but the medical politics in this town have created many corrupt doctors. No one thought she would last thing long here and eventually the whole community of patients who love her, feel she will move on. It will be a sad loss, but very understandable. This hospital is very greedy and extremely disastrous results with many patients ending up with huge complications. losing their jobs and i am sure dying very prematurely. I do not blame Dr. Wong for leaving or even quitting medicine, because she always tells us she can't give quality care to her patients because of ridiculous insurance rules, and she cannot stand jeopardiZing her patients care. if she does end up leaving, many patients would hate to see her go, but would understand. if there is a way you can make medical care better up here, please let up know how.

she is never open, constantly cancelling appointments, dogs in the office, dead plants, horrible.
