Prescribed many unnecessary medications that cause my health to deteriorate further and made unbelievably inappropriate statements.

Dr. Atkisson is a wonderful doctor who I saw for 3 years. She helped me so much with my anxiety, ADHD, and depression. She listens to what I have to say and helped me focus on if the medications were actually helping and if something needed to be changed. She took into account my other medical problems to find medications that would work for multiple illnesses. Yes I usually had to wait as appointments were behind schedule but most doctors seem to have that problem, just plan ahead! I only quit seeing her because she got too expensive for me.

Dr. Atkisson is always concerned about what I am going through and is helpful to me by listening to my symptoms and figuring out what will help.

I have been I patient for several years and have been frustrated with the customer service but as of the last few months she has been appointing two other doctors that are not as knowledgeable. I am very disappointed.

I highly recommend Dr. Atkisson for any type of psychiatric care. I was very anxious about being diagnosed and the possibility of medications. Dr. Atkisson’s calm and kind demeanor quickly put me at ease, and I am grateful for the care I am receiving. Side note...a swab of my cheek (genetic testing) took care of my medication concerns.

Dr. Atkisson is an extradordinary doctor. She is incredibly intelligent, thoughtful, caring, and kind. She will do whatever she can to help, all the while providing a listening ear, encouraging words, and wise advice. It has been such a pleasure having her as my doctor. In short, she is a gift from the heavens and I’m not sure what we did to deserve this angel woman. :-)

I would totally recommend Dr Atkisson! She's always compassionate and kind. Her office staff is friendly and helpful!

Dr. Atkisson spent time with me and made me feel like I would get better. She and her staff are kind and helpful. I would strongly recommend her to anyone.
