Dr. Deena Kleinerman, MD

I recently had my annual checkup with Dr. Kleinerman, and I must say it was another positive experience. This was my second year seeing her, as my previous gynecologist had retired. From the moment I stepped into her office, Dr. Kleinerman displayed a high level of knowledge, attentiveness, and care. Her expertise in the field was evident throughout the appointment. She was well-informed about the latest advancements and research in gynecology, and she took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. What impressed me the most was her attentiveness. Dr. Kleinerman genuinely listened to my concerns and took the time to understand my medical history. I felt heard and understood throughout the entire appointment. She took the time to explain various treatment options, making sure I had all the information necessary to make informed decisions about my health. Her knowledge, attentiveness, and caring demeanor make her an exceptional gynecologist. I feel fortunate to have found… her as my new gyn doctor.

Doctors have a responsibility to help patients at some of the most challenging and vulnerable times in their lives. I was so excited during my first pregnancy - until I met Dr. Deena Kleinerman. This woman continuously bullied me to get a procedure done that I didn’t want. She belittled me for everything I did and didn’t do during my pregnancy. She didn’t take any of my concerns seriously which landed me in the hospital for a surgery - and while I was there she yelled at me on the phone. She failed not only as a doctor but as a human being at every step.

I started seeing Dr Kleinerman after my ObGyn retired from the practice. I was delighted to find such an excellent and caring doctor!

I’m shocked by some of the reviews I’ve read about Dr. Kleinerman. I can honestly say, every appointment with her has been fantastic. She is sweet, caring and is genuinely interested in what’s going on in your life. I started seeing her when my original doc retired from the practice. Shy and skeptical to see someone new, she made me feel at ease from the first minute. I wouldn’t dream of seeing anyone else.

She delivered my son after I was in labor for 36 hours. My family doctor stopped in to see how I was doing when I was in labor and was appalled that a C-section hadn't been ordered. I had a healthy baby, but in the following years, I developed pelvic organ prolapse which resulted in a hysterectomy and a surgery later to repair another prolapse. I believe the prolonged labor and a large baby caused this issue. During my pregnancy, she made sarcastic remarks, and made me feel like I shouldn't have asked questions, etc. I was sent to a dietician because I gained a ager amount of weight in the beginning of the pregnancy. I was also put through unnecessary ultrasounds. One was very scary because they thought my baby's kidney wasn't functioning. After another ultrasound, it showed it was fine. Needless to say, what could have been a good experience was a very stressful time. My second pregnancy and delivery went great. I went to a family doctor and had no issues, etc.

Dr. Kleinerman delivered my son and she was exactly what I needed. As a first time mom, I was a bit nervous having a doctor I had not previously met before that day. She immediately put me at ease - she was understanding, direct and went through the steps of what was going to happen for my delivery. (With all the commotion going on that day, this is what I needed!) Although the nurses were lovely, several times during the delivery Dr Kleinerman completely understood what I needed as the mom without me even communicating it. Im writing this 2 years since giving birth because I will never forget the doctor who delivered my healthy baby.

So unsupportive and unhelpful. She's supposed to be the professional who's getting paid to give guidance and have answers. I've never been treated so poorly by a physician when asking questions- didn't really answer them and told me to do the research. Isn't that why she's a doctor and I'm not??? Would NEVER recommend her to anyone I know!!!!

I'm 51 and have seen quite a few GYN docs in my life and so far I can honestly say that Dr. Kleinerman is the most thorough, caring and professional physician period. She took time to sit down after the exam and went over my medical history and documented in my record, made recommendations and suggestions regarding menopause treatment, ordered appropriate tests and even tried to call my primary care provider to ask some questions for follow up. I felt like I was a patient and not just a number going through the line of appointments. She has a wonderful sense of humor and a great bedside manner! I'm so glad that I switched to see Dr. K and will be returning for sure! Thank you Dr. K!

The first time I met with Dr. Kleinerman, she performed an ultrasound that revealed multiple cysts on my ovaries. Since I was completely taken by surprise by this diagnosis, I had a lot of questions. I also asked if my mother could come and listen in. After that questions, Kleinerman became very cold and told me that she had other patients to attend. She basically pushed me out of her office, where I was left to deal with the very unhelpful staff at the front desk.

I love Dr. Kleinerman! Her bedside manner is wonderful and she fully takes an interest in her clients. I have been with her for years, and hope she never stops practicing!
