Cared for my sons father for 20 years and now she is my sons doctor. Amazing Woman

The last review in Oct 2017 giving Dr Lamaye a 1 star rating was written by my ex wife who suffers from many mental illnesses, including being bi-polar. She is angry about losing custody of our 4 boys and is blaming everyone involved. Dr Lamaye is a wonderful pediatrician and used her over 20 years of expertise and talked with both parents, therapists, doctors and educators before diagnosing 2 of my children. Great Doctor!

She diagnosed Autism Spectrum Disorder in 15 minutes without a neurological evaluation and without ever reading the school and parent questionaires. She said he did not have ODD because the one time she asked him to come here he listened. When I described his behavior she said she doesn't like to diagnose ODD but would put in her report he is oppositionally defiant. Absurd! She is not a neurologist. She is a peditrician. Now my son is misdiagnosed and getting bribed at school to behave. Truth is he fell through cracks of bad marriage and divorce and didn't learn certain things. He just needs to be taught but school and dad placate because poor thing has disorders. He's got them wrapped around his little finger and plays them for stupid. Not at my house, he doesnt have autism and ADHD at my house because I discipline for bad behavior and give consequences. And doctor was late, not even in the office.

We have seen Dr Limaye for over 12 years. Can't recommend her enough! She is wonderful and her staff is great! Only immensely positive experiences with this office from the time I was a nervous and inexperienced mother through all the bumps, bruises, concussions fevers illnesses and broken bones that my kids have had in the last 12 years - dr Limaye has been wonderful, patient, helpful, caring and everything you could want in a pediatrician!

She is very respectful and sensitive to the pressing issues of special needs children and families!

I drive an hour to bring my kids to Dr. Limaye. She is an extremely experienced physician and very approachable. Would recommend to any family. Dr. Limaye has always been friendly and my kids love her and have grown up under her care!

Awfull experience. No urgency. PA was unable to assist and did not provide any help. Dr. went on vacation and did not have a MD as back up. Unacceptable.

Dr. Limaye has been so warm and caring towards us and has been a tremendous source of encouragement after diagnosing our son with Autism. She has been honest, helpful, made us laugh during stressful moments, but most of all...she's been there for our son and spoken to HIM like he is a person, not just a "autistic" in the room. She is definitely worth the hour drive for us and we would recommend her services to anyone looking for a diagnostic physician.

Dr Limaye presents well but doesnt really listen. You find yourself either repeating yourself or giving up. The visit feels rushed which may cause you to forget to ask an important question. Went to her because of her speciality in Neurodevelopmental disabilities but she does not seem particularly knowledgeable or maybe it is that she does not give enough time or attention to the patient but in either case it is like seeing a peds doc without the specialty. Nice person but that doesn't make for a necessarily good doctor.
