They just don't make doctors like Dr. Shapiro anymore. His vast knowledge of medicine with appreciation of holistic health and alternative methods set his practice apart.

Dr Shapiro has been our primary for years. He has always been willing to look deeper for diagnosis. His staff/nurse is great.

I have been a patient of Dr. Shapiro's for a few years. I was referred to him by my neurologist for acupuncture for my diabetic neuropathy. The improvement has been monumental! I was able to reduce my medication by 75%. I still have neuropathy, that will never go away, but the feeling and the puffiness have markedly improved. What I really appreciate is Dr. Shapiro's willingness to explain other issues I might be having and to make suggestions, He is not my primary care but is also very help in that area. If his office weren't so far he would be. His staff is amazing! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Shapiro! I would recommend him in a heartbeat!!

Poor Bedside manor. Did not even check my throat or do mouth exam on suspected strep throat because he was afraid of contracting virus (he was wearing all appropriate PPE, including mask). Spent little time interviewing and even less examining before prescribing meds and pushing me out of the office. He got agitated when I couldn't understand what he was asking me. He didn't go over any possible medication side effects, but warned me 3 times "not to get pregnant on this medication".

computer systems always seems to be slow.

A very poor doctor. Doesn't have any pacience for his pacients.
