I started with Dr. D. Simopoulos back in 2004. He has performed radical surgery on me and attended to my problems until he closed his office in Jackson when his father (a doctor) retired. I found no doctor that I trust as much as him. He is very attentive to my ongoing problems.

If you need a urologist, you can't go wrong with this father/son team! If Demetrios is not available during your emergency kidney stone surgery, his dad will see you, and he's just as good! I have passed 14 stones, and in the past 4 years, I have passed 3 with this doctor, and everyone was too large to pass myself. They were broken with lithotripsy and all went well. They have offices in Jackson and Placerville, CA and will preform surgery in either hospital of your choice. Very friendly guys too, I feel very comfortable with this team.

He has been my urologist since he went into private practice and before then his dad Nicholas was. I trust this man so much so that even when our insurance does not cover him I refuse to leave him. He is intelligent and knowledgeable and gives me straight answers that I can understand..I am 19 years free of bladder cancer and have have my bladder intact because of their practice...
