Dr. Dendy Engelman, MD

Everything she recommended costs thousands (filler, lasers, etc.) and the only think that I wanted/made a difference/asked for regarding helping my appearance was a simple ($5) prescription which she wouldn’t give me. I had to go to another (not cosmetic focused) dermatologist. Also, I was misinformed about the risks of filler. I ended up actually having a poor reaction to it and would not do it again. Furthermore, the laser didn’t make any difference and was just costly. I prefer a conservative doctor who truly advises based on what is best for the patient and doesn’t push more expensive treatment just for the money

Dr. Engelman rushed our appointment and proceeded to judge the treatments I had already done for my acne. She tried to sell me overpriced treatments that I knew would have made my acne much worse. Additionally, her manner was condescending and impatient and she seems to only care about patients who spend a ton of money on botox, fillers, laser and cellulite treatment. A friend of mine told me Dr. Engelman only cares about being in the media and if your rich and famous. She looks like she has had tons of fillers. Stay away from her.

Not a good experience!

My appointment was at 2:20pm. I came at 2:00pm. Filled the forms and around 2:05 was taken in by an assistant. She asked me questions about my visit and wrote my answers down. Since she kept forgetting what I said a second ago, I had to repeat several times. Then she left and I waited for 25 minutes. Then the doctor Engelman came and spent about 3 minutes with me being in an extreme hurry, asking me questions and immediately forgetting my short answers. Then she left. Then another assistant came, spent 1 minute with me, again being in an extreme hurry, asking me questions and immediately forgetting my short answers. Both assistants asked the name and address of my pharmacy and the doctor prescribed 2 ointments and a pill. Two days later I came to pickup my prescriptions, but my pharmacy never heard from that office.

Dr. Dendy Engleman is in incredibly intuitive, precise, detail oriented and caring doctor. I can't recommend her highly enough. I trust her implicitly. Can I give her 10 stars?

Dr. Engelman is wonderful. She is very knowledgable and has such a caring and reassuring manner that puts you immediately at ease. Dr. Engelman is also the only Doctor I've seen who runs on time and is considerate of her patient's time. A true professional that encompasses all the qualities every patient wants in their provider.

I would first like to say what an absolute pleasure it is to be a patient of Dr. Engelman. She is the most efficient, professional, and accommodating MD I have come across. She has a very unique ability (not often seen in any field let alone medicine) to extend her care not only on a professional level but a personal level as well. It is a very comforting and refreshing feeling to know your doctor truly cares about your well being.

Dendy is amazing. Hands down the best dermatologist I've ever been to. From the second she walked in the room her warmth as a person, combined with her skill as a Dr. put me at ease. I would put my treatment in her hands for anything from medical to cosmetic. Seeing now that she has a double major in psychology comes as no surprise as her kindness and generosity as a person and Dr, have gone above and beyond what I expected! PS, she's not bad on the eyes either!
