Denise Aamodt, MD

Dr Aamodt has been my primary care physician for over 20 years. She is professional, caring, thorough and thoughtful. I truly believe she is a brilliant doctor and hope she continues to practise in my local for the rest of my life.

She was awesome and miss her so much, lucky to have found someone that also cares, but took me over 7 yrs to do so after moving to MO for work...Denise, you are the best..love you hon, always will.

Dr. Aamodt is a very knowledgeable, caring and compassionate doctor. She listens to her patients' concerns and does her best to give them the best care, including referring to other specialists when necessary.

I don't know where ABQ Health Partners is picking up these doctors for they are not giving you total health care. They just don't care. All they have to do is write you a prescription. These doctors here act like in order to write you a prescription, they would have to cut off their hand that could write you the prescription. They have no problems taking Medicare money, but they do not wish to heal the patients. I believe they don't want to help you and they will not give you total care as promised on the ABQ Health Partners advertisement. These doctors act like TV doctors, get a visit, say hello, then say good-bye, then charge your Medicare. President Obama needs to investigate these doctors here, and bring us some NATO doctors who has code of conduct and they will not let you die. Something is wrong with these doctors in Albuquerque Metro, this 1721 Rio Rancho location needs to be shut down cause the doctors will not work, but you do get better treatment in the ER. Why is it… easier to get medicine and proper medical attention in the ER than with your Primary Care? They have no problems treating you and giving medicine in the ER, but you can't get any help with a Primary Care nor Total Care with ABQ Health Partners when they promised you the best care. What is wrong with ABQ Health Partners, when they were the best, now these doctors are just hurting patients on purpose and just collecting as much Medicare as they can. OBAMA, you need to investigate these doctors in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. OBAMA, you need to check their qualifications and investigate these doctors, and why won't they write prescriptions? Something is wrong with this hospital, ABQ Health Partners, in all their locations.

Exceptional doctor.

Choosing a Doctor is easy, but getting an appointment is not easy and if you are a new patient it is more harder. The Front desk personnel are very very rude in their way and they always hook you up with nurse practitioners and not with MD's. I wish Front Desk Personnel are more courteous. If I can rate the Front Desk Personnel I will not give even a single star. Does somebody check how they behave with patients. If staff itself are rude and discourteous, how can the Doctors be? Hope someone looks at this review and takes care of the issue with Front Desk Personnel.

She is admired and respected by patients, but also by the specialist doctors we have. She makes the patient feel valued.

Best doctor I've ever had. She listens, takes her time to diagnose, and she records everything before one leaves the room. When you return, she has everything in front of her on her computer, so you don't have to explain everything over again. Wonderful doctor.

The absolute best doctor I ever had! Dr. Aamodt is caring, thorough, and answers any and all questions. She always got me the care that I needed, and I have referred many of my friends to her. I had Dr. Aamodt as my PCP for over a decade, and I miss her terribly since we have moved out-of-state. She is wonderful!
