I visited this doctor with the flu, with clear flu symptoms. This doctor would not prescribe Tamiflu and told me instead to go visit another doctor the following day (Tamiflu needs to be taken within 48 hours of getting sick or it is useless, and it is a classical thing for doctors to kick the can down the road and then say "Well, it's too late now so not necessary.") What she says about Tamiflu's liver toxicity is a myth, the exaggeration of somebody who repeats something they've heard, even the NIH disagrees with her (see article on oseltamivir at the NIH Library of Medicine). The empathy of somebody like this: She tells you, when you are sick, clearly with the flu, it's best to go in a waiting room, feel terrible, and infect other people.
