Dr. Dennard William Ellison, MD

Dennard Ellison, MD, joined the ENT Clinic at the SLV Regional Medical Center in 2010. He graduated from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 1986, followed by a residency in general surgery at Shands Teaching Hospital in Gainesville, FL., and a residency in otolaryngology at Martin Luther King Jr. Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. He was a staff otolaryngologist at the University of California San Diego Medical Center and San Diego VA Medical Center. Prior to coming to SLVRMC, Dr. Ellison had been with Presbyterian Hospital's Multi-Specialty Group Otolaryngology in Albuquerque, NM, since 2002.

"ENT is a diverse medical specialty that allows me to treat many interesting and complex diseases of the head and neck region in all age groups," he says. "I have a particular interest and training in the treatment of nasal and sinus disorders including allergy."

Outside of work, Dr. Ellison often treks to the World Arena in Colorado Springs to watch his two oldest daughters, Lauren and …Tamia, train in fi gure skating for the 2018 Olympics. He and his wife Paula and youngest daughter, Alexis, also frequently travel to skating competitions throughout the United States.
