I have found being a pediatrician to be the most rewarding job in the world. I feel very fortunate to have the privilege of caring for children and helping them to grow and develop into happy, healthy adults. I feel very strongly that caring for children involves a team approach, with parents and guardians being the biggest component of that team. My goal is to work with you to prevent illness, encourage healthy lifestyle choices, treat illnesses quickly and effectively to the best of my ability, and support your family in any way that I can. My …priority is to focus on psychosocial health as well as physical well-being. Please do not hesitate to discuss school issues, problems in the home, or difficult behaviors when you come to your appointment with me. We all have our own cultural context and personal experiences that shape our decisions in caring for children. I strive to work with families and account for those experiences and beliefs to provide the best possible healthcare for each of my patients. I also prioritize clear and direct communication and always try to guide my patients and families through the sea of information that is out there so that they can make the most informed healthcare decisions.

My decision to become a pediatrician was many years in the making. I am always amazed at some of the experiences that spurred my dream of becoming a pediatrician. In particular, my high school involvement with Special Olympics and college experiences raising money for children with cancer instantly drew me toward pediatrics. After medical school, I did my pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. While residency training is supposed be such a grueling experience, I can honestly say I loved it. I then became a licensed, Board Certified pediatrician and furthered my medical education with one year of specialty training in pediatric cancer and blood diseases at UCSF. The month of September, 2011 was an truly incredible month for me - I married the love of my life, Lori, on September 25th, left for my honeymoon in Bali, and was offered the job at Kaiser Permanente the same week! We have since moved to Santa Rosa with our dog, Sasha, and are looking forward to starting a family here. My Colleagues


My practice partner is Dr. Jose Morales and Dr. Enoch Brabant. I am in the office Monday 1:30 – 5 and Monday and all day Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Fri 8:30 am – 5 pm.
