Dr. Dennis Dlugos

Went here for an opinion as we are typically seen at another local children’s hospital. He was nice and had interesting feedback but when my child ran into an issue with sudden uncontrollable seizures I was left with minimal guidance. They called me back A day and a half later with a plan. I implemented the plan but no help. I called back the on call service a couple times with a returned call 4 hours later. The on call Dr said she’ll reach out to Dlugos because she never met my child before. I still got no information from the Dr. I ended up going to the ER to the usual hospital we go to and when they called Dr. Dlugos for assistance we were told he is away and they don’t feel comfortable making any changes. This was a Friday evening. So, a child having over 23 seizures in a day who typically has one here and there was left in the dust. Even the Monday after, with all of the calls I had made and “we will call you back” messages from the nurses, still nothing. I’m extremely disgusted… in the management of my child. Disgraceful! Don’t send your child here.
