Dr. Dennis R Gable, MD

Initial consult appointment with Dr. Gable on December 11th. He was highly professional, patient, answered questions articulately and understandably. Scheduled for a procedure on Jan 13th. He is upbeat, friendly and most cordial. He is a referral from my other Baylor physician, Dr. Bryan Minton, my go to primary doc of over 20 years. Dr. Gable's staff and office are of a high caliber as well. Compared to my Louisiana doctors, Dr. Gable stands head and shoulders well above them. The office is organized, no long wait either. Look forward to this physician too being my go to doctor for vascular issues going forward. He has great credentials and is well thought of and respected in the medical community. My primary speaks highly of Dr. Gable.

I honestly cannot express enough how grateful I am for Dr. Gable, he saved my life literally. I’m a nurse, unfortunately injured my acl/mcl, 6 days later ended up in ER then ICU c a saddle pulmonary embolism 8” long. Dr. Gable & medical staff worked tirelessly pulling it out piece by piece until I was clear to breathe without any further issues. My husband, Dallas Firefighter & I will never be able to thank him and the Lord up above enough for saving my life, it truly is a miracle. He is the Best Doctor!!!!!

This doctor has a terrible bedside manner, and his staff is horrible. No one communicates. Procedure at the hospital was cancelled at the last minute. Dr. blamed the hospital and the hospital blamed the doctor. Totally unacceptable, unprofessional. He basically did not want to treat us and did not communicate. Frustrating. Avoid this doctor and this staff, who are the worst we have ever dealt with. They are 100% non-responsive and do not return phone calls, nor are they proactive in doing followups or setting up appointments or procedures. Terrible, Terrible experience. Avoid them.

I have been going to Dr Gable sense 2005 he has done several operations on my right leg over the years i would never go to anyone else he is not only a great doctor he is a very caring person he has been so kind not just to me but my family. I would recommend him to anyone. i have never had any problems with his staff in his Plano office they have always been a great help.

Doctor Gable was part of the team that repaired my aorta and after the first followup visit became a friend for life. On my next surgery he removed a blockage in an artery in my right arm, but stayed the whole time I was in surgery for the second time to follow my progress and keep my family informed [from 5AM to 12PM] .

Dr. Gable explained treatment and surgery. Using support stockings did help but I ultimately opted for the venacure surgery on both legs with a positive result. Member of his staff were pleasant and helpful. All in all a good experience. I would definitely recommend him to others suffering from vascular insufficiency.

Difficult to make appointment. Long wait in waiting room.

Would recommend Dr. Gable to anyone.
