An amazing doctor with an amazing bedside manner. He operated on our 5y old don who had a serious and rare condition. Ha explained everything in great detail both before and after the surgery. He has the most gentle manner and made us feel comfortable and well informed. I highly recommend this wonderful doctor and amazing person.

IMO he is overrated. He totally disregarded and. Rushed me and brushed me off during my visit. I waited almost an hour to see him and drove almost 5 hours just to return back home dissapointed. I have been suffering with ETD and I was toros he is the only one who can help but he clearly did not do anything to help me!!!

My son was diagnosed with a cholestoma. Dr Poe slowly and with kindness and caring explained what this was exactly. With each question he explained, diagrammed and completely calmed the nerves of a concerned mother. When surgery day finally came, this great surgeon-father-man allowed me to remain beside my son until he was asleep and then "HE" yes the surgeon walked me to the elevator. It is these small acts that place him above and beyond! His kindness, his caring nature and his incredible knowledge vastly out shines others in this realm. He took the time to peel away and save as much of my sons inner ear bones as possible, rather than take the quick cutout and use a prosthesis approach. I am so thankful my sons hearing was saved!!!

After wearing bilateral hearing aids for 8 years gave me the gift of hearing back. He is the kindest most skilled surgeon I have ever dealt with. I also work in the healthcare field so have dealt with alot of physicians. Every nurse I encountered at MEEI told me you have the best and the nicest!! Certainly makes you feel good before going in for surgery!!

Excellent doctor. A true expert on Eustachian tube issues. Thorough and respectful to patients. Someone you can trust to put 100 percent into helping you. Listens well and understands the emotional impact of your physical problem. I came from Hawaii to see him and worth every minute, every penny.

Dr. Poe performed surgery on my ear when I was in my early 40s, correcting botched jobs done by two other noted ear surgeons. He not only "cleaned up" problems with the earlier ear drum grafts, he actually RESTORED hearing that I had not had for decades. Not to perfection (impossible because of nerve damage) but to a noticeable degree that I had not dreamed was possible. He is also a nice and respectiful doctor. We are lucky to have him in the Boston area.
