DR. HOLCOMBE ALMOST KILLED ME, PUT ME IN A COMA FOR A WEEK ,MY FAMILY HAD ME TRANSFER TO BIRMINGHAM TO GET ME THE HELP I NEEDED. HE HAS A POOR BEDSIDE MANNER LIKES TO PUT YOU DOWN IN FRONT OF STAFF. I AM A NURSE AND NEVER SEEN SUCH CURLTY AND UGLINESS FROM A DOCTOR."

Dr.Holcombe is ok as a doctor but his incompetent staff up front is ridiculous.The business office doesn´t know who has a co-pay.They tell you one thing then bill you later and rush you to pay when you were going to pay the day of service.When you are disabled and on a budget and don´t make appointments unless you can pay and get hit with an extra bill that you should not have had in the first place it pisses me off.You make it to the office and they refuse to see you and tell you to reschedule because you can´t pay on a bill they caused.They didn´t give me my gas money that i spent to get there.

I don't have a problem with the dr or with the NP. The woman who makes the appointments and works the desk (Mona) is rude and hateful. She will talk over you when you are trying to ask you a question and tells the patient they must be confused.

Staff is extremely rude, and un-compassionate to patients. After a scheduling disagreement, they refused my daughter medical treatment for an emergency situation, even after another doctor requested the medical review of a potential life and death situation. And if they can't figure out the problem, the patient must be lying.

Only able to see NP. Saw doc 2 mins before procedure. Never able to discuss aNY thing with doctor. No way to do business.

I have used Dr. Holcomb for several years. He saved my life several years ago - I had to have colonoscopy and found several large polps which had to be removed. I came very close to being on the operating table because of colon cancer. HE SAVED MY LIFE.

He does not care for his patients, and hurts during a colonostamy. He tells you to hush up when he is hurting you and you can feel the procedure. He only cares for the almighty dollar, and not his patients.

I saw this dr during a colonoscopy that his CRNP ordered. A colonoscopy that I should not have had because the CRNP was incompetent and did not recognize a simple case of colitis. I had a gastrointestinal birth defect so my insides are not arranged like anyone else. I had SEVERE bruising due to nurses laying on me during the procedure & was told by Dr Holcombe to never have another colonoscopy ever. I complained to his office with no resolution other than sorry for your luck.
